A character someone plays in a film or TV show =/= the actual actor. From what I've seen and heard, Evans is actually quite shy and apparently has anxiety issues, nothing like Johnny Storm.

Uh, I was talking about his characters. (Johnny Storm is a douchebag vs. Capt. America is a sweetheart. Therefore, Chris seems to be able to play both types.) It seems the people in this thread are confusing character with actor.

Not AYRT, but from the way I read it AYRT was talking about Evans' other roles? As in Evans plays dickish roles better than nice-guy parts. See Johnny Storm, for example.

IA with this, tbh. Not that Evans did a bad job with Cap, but in my opinion, the part of The Avengers where he was just ripping into Tony with that horrible scepter-induced sneer on his face was probably the best acting he did in the whole film. It was really, really good, whereas his acting for Steve-the-nice-guy was just "good".
