Notes:
To the anon that wanted warnings on .gif secrets: I'm not sure how I could effectively implement that. For triggery or spoilery secrets, one could just not read the text, but for .gifs by the time you get to the warning, it's already moving in your field of vision. If you have a suggestion as to how it could be done without just linking the secret (it's not breaking any rules or containing porn or gore, so that wouldn't be fair), let me know. Putting it in the notes for now.

Re: Pitbulls
One of them (who I think has pretty much turned into a forever dog) was likely used as a bait dog prior to being rescued, which is definitely sad, but now he's just... so freaking adorable. He does this little dance when he's about to be fed, and he's almost always grinning.
Actually, I think most of the dogs they fostered had been in terrible situations before-hand, but there are people out there who fight for these dogs and rescue them and give them loving homes and the dogs are just so fucking HAPPY after.
There's nothing like watching a
herdpack of pitties gallumphing merrily down the hall because roommate or her boyfriend was home and the dogs wanted to say hello. :)Aaand pics or it didn't happen (You can tell which dog liked to pose for the camera...)

To the OP: I think that for energetic and muscular dogs, walking them a lot also helps them be a little more manageable. It helps with their health too, but it calms them down, especially when they are too excitable (if that's a problem).
