To the anon that wanted warnings on .gif secrets: I'm not sure how I could effectively implement that. For triggery or spoilery secrets, one could just not read the text, but for .gifs by the time you get to the warning, it's already moving in your field of vision. If you have a suggestion as to how it could be done without just linking the secret (it's not breaking any rules or containing porn or gore, so that wouldn't be fair), let me know. Putting it in the notes for now.

aw you're too kind. =P I wouldn't worry about making a faux pas too much though, I don't think people care that much. There's nothing wrong with reblogging things! I think it's more along the lines of when there's a text post someone's made, and someone reblogs it and adds their own somewhat relevant story to it. And really there is nothing wrong with that but this seems to annoy some people. This is only a recent trend really. (I think).

There aren't really any rules with regards to how you should blog there and it's not the best blogging platform for communication by any means so I guess you should really just do whatever you feel like doing. If anyone tells you "no ur bloggin wrong" you should just ignore them though I doubt anyone would actually do that. You never know though tumblr people are weird

Also another recent trend is of people making text posts like this: "girl with sHORT HAIR??? girl mUST be LEBSIan.. cannot be straight.... it nEVA HAPPENS!!! girl is gay. its how u no." and other similar things, and they are never being serious. This then results in a lot of confusion and people reblogging it saying things like "um, no, are you stupid? this is the dumbest thing I've ever heard." then the op reblogs it saying "congrats on missing the joke u win the prize".
that might seem completely irrelevant but I thought I would warn you just in case you had not encountered it?? Take nothing on that website at face value basically! (Suddenly I am dispensing advice, what is this I didn't mean to write an essay whoops.)

Oh man, I've seen the whole "point gets lost in the mass of reblogs" thing myself. It's always a little facepalm worthy. Especially when the original joke is really really obvious. And actually, I've seen an obviously joke picture used as a serious argument against something (as in, "look at this picture can't you tell that these people are all depraved!").

Ah...do people really get annoyed? Maybe I should stop. D: I'm sure I can get used to talking in tags...
