RvB spoilers? I guess?

In the case of RvB that ship is secretly A.I/A.I/Confused Human or maybe technically just M/M/M.

Tex is what a guy things a woman is like so I'm not sure how well she'd go in a close relationship. ^^o

If one wants to get incredibly technical that shot is from season 9 and those are the Epsilon-memory versions of them, so it's A.I./projection of A.I./projection of confused human.

Of course OP probably meant Church/Tex/Tucker in general but shh.

I'm more not sure how Tucker would do in an actual relationship, but I can see your point about Tex too. Not as if Church was winning any awards either...mmm, dysfunction.

Oh yeah. There is an extra level on Inception there. I think season 9 parings get to fold all the way back up to The Director/His Right Hand/A picture of Alison.

Unfortunately it seems that some of the best RvB ficcers got kinda frustrated when Reconstruction came though and sunk hot!human!Church. Personally I'd love to see some more A.I shipping but it's a small fandom anyway. ^^o

Tucker would probably mess it up by either being totally dismissive or saying really stupid shit. Tucker/Sister OTP forever!

For Tex I can imagine it being a little melodrama of how Alisons relationship went with The Director, with all the blame shifted on to her too.

When you realize the entire thing all goes back to the Director, including all the AI, it gets trippy. Because people pair AI off sometimes! (I personally think Delta/Theta would be the cutest thing ever.)

Welll. The few Wash/Church (Alpha, not Epsilon) shippers left haven't? And I've seen a Tucker/Epsilon that didn't. But yeah, largely.

I guess it's kinda awesome how in this particular small fandom there are no ship wars and everyone is all cool with...pretty much everything. Like I saw some people start spontaneously shipping Wash/Donut after last week's episode.

I honestly think The Director is at fault for everything bad that happens to anyone in RvB ever.

Yeah, A.I ships are pretty cute though! It's not really very healthy but they've got to find some good in their situation.

Season 10 has been really good fro the fandom 'cause it's full of strong and interesting (and human) characters while leaving plenty of space for fics and interludes and the like.

Smaller fandoms tend to be chiller which is always a great relief after the non-stop drama of the big Tumblr fandoms. ^^o
RvB is has so much space and room for ships too! (Is it weird I wanna see Doc and Donut have Wash over for a dinner party? It'd be super surreal and fun.)

Yup, he really is. He's the reason they're all in the box canyon, he's the reason for The Freelancers, The Meta and everything. Looking at RvB as a hypothetical part of the Halo universe he might be small potatoes compared to Halsey but he has worked under/with her at some point. So he could be at least a little culpable for the Spartan progam. ^^o

OP

*casually joins discussion because I can never get enough RvB talk*

First off, I shipped Wash/Donut way before the last episode...Washnut OTP for life. But maybe that's just because I ship a lot of weird pairs. I think any ships with the AI are incredibly fascinating. There's really not enough of it. There's a lot of potential for mind screwy things in any AI/Human fic, and I haven't actually thought about AI Fragment/AI Fragment, but that seems intriguing too.

And yes, I did mean Tucker/Church/Tex in general despite using a Season 9 shot ;) It was just an image that I found that had all three of them. Although I think any Epsilon Unit shipping is literally just Church/himself, because it's all his memories. (I wish there was more S9 shipping tbqh). (Although I do ship Church/himself. Starting with Alpha Church/Caboose's Memory of Church.)

To defend Church/Tucker/Tex, though:

I'll admit I did start because I was torn between Church/Tucker and Church/Tex (because both are amazing). Because Church and Tex is canon and lovely and tragic and dysfunctional, and Church and Tucker bitch at each other but there's a lot of genuine trust and friendship there. And if you watch back through the season, you can see Tex and Tucker grow friendly with each other too - although they still snipe at each other because it's RvB after all, they do grow to understand each other. And Tucker is actually a pretty rational person if you take away the double entendres and the whininess, and I think he'd balance out the inherent dysfunction of Church and Tex.

Sorry, just wanted to talk about it! Carry on.
