9. Besides the fact that the epilogue was a pure unadulterated piece of crap, the actual book was fantastic, I felt relieved because I'd braced myself for mayor suckage. I'm just waiting until I have a free moment [and have forgotten the crapilogue] to read it again without the fear of the imminent disaster, I'm sure I'll enjoy it more.

18. This same thing happens to me but with Harry/Ginny, whenever I find that someone I know ships it I feel disappointed in them. And yeah, it's a ship, fandom, not personal, grow up, yadda! yadda! yadda!, but fuck if some of the shittiest fantards I've found weren't H/G shippers.

PS: I ship Ichigo/Rukia, I stay outside of the fandom because I just know that if I came in contact with it it would ruin everything, fandom wars suck the fun out of anything. :P

I agree with your comments on 18 and too an extent, 9, even though some parts were less than spectacular in DH for me.

It dragged in some parts, but it could have been so much worse, after HBP I kind of lost hope for the series, and since Jo had said DH was like the other half of the Half-Baked Plot, I thought it would suck horribly too. So imagine my relief when I read it and there was Luna and Neville awesomeness [I mean the characters, not the pairing], the trio, so little H/G, and people seemed in character [most of the time].

YES!! Just.. yes! I agree 100% with your comments regarding both on 9 and 18. The epilogue sucks and, IMO, Rowling cannot write romance or pairings. To save her life, she can't. Plus, like you mentioned, seems like all the real assholes (not just the slightly dramatic ones that are tolerable) are H/G shippers.

'Course I ship non-canon ships myself. Always will.

She really can't, when she tries to write it the result is this mess of cheese and corn. And sorry but all the interviews in the world won't convince me that it's tuw wuv.

I don't ship any pairings on HP, so I'd always just laugh whenever they used their old "lulz, Harmonian [and how fucking annoying is that?]" defence, yeah because you totally cannot hate the pairing just because it's poorly written, and corny as hell.
