I love the Tarot symbolism (I was more into I-Ching and Norse runes when I was in my fortune-teller phase, Tarot didn't work for me for some reason), so more than wincing or facepalming, I tend to think it's a waste of a chance.

(Then again, I like to look up random esoteric and mythological stuff just for the heck of it, so if I were a writer I'd be slapping that stuff on everything like a drunken ATLUS screenwriter who stayed up all night reading Jung.)
