Which is unfortunate because the ones who put time and effort into it are normally the most interesting and funny.

And it is that sort who started this whole thing called "trolling." They are the troll ancestry, so to speak, and the current generation might as well be defiling them and spitting upon their graves with how mediocre they are.

It's a shame, really. Even ten years ago, the majority of trolls were more fun. They were subtle and insidious; it could take dozens of posts before anyone realized that they were being had. I miss those times.

Yeah, I know someone who did the skilled stuff but they quit a while ago. Their work was.. interesting, to say in the least.

Mhmm, you might get stuff like that now-a-days but it's much more rare.

Then again, I have to say, I'm not advocating any of the witty stuff that was actually harmful to people. But a lot of the stuff that wasn't? Those were a good read.
