That's not what "cultural appropriation" is. Marrying someone who is of a different race has absolutely nothing to do with it.

"Cultural appropriation" involves taking on the customs of another culture without having any actual ties to that culture.

See, why is that so bad, though? Just because you don't have natural born ties to a culture doesn't mean you can't respect and want to be a part of it. I don't get why it's so disgusting for people to want to intermix and be a part of each other's cultures.

"Cultural appropriation" is a neutral term and it does not include "intermixing" or learning about other cultures, it is exactly what above anon described or as I've described it elsewhere in thread as members of the dominant culture "cherry-picking" from other cultures without regard for the significance or history of the cultural practice.
