Because cool and logical isn't everyone's cuppa's?

I think that he has ended up taking the backseat to Soundwave, since he has those same qualities (and an aftload of cassettes).

I feel like Barber is holding onto Shockwave for big things. If he makes an IDW ressurgance, you may yet see fic of him.

I mostly want to see a fic of him and the currently FUBAR version of Prowl sit down and have a chat. It would be interesting...

I think a lot of people (fans, at least) like Shockwave, but it's just that he never appears anywhere. See this teaser of the third season of Transformers Prime and listen for the audible gasps in the audience when Shockwave arrives.

Holy crap, I just fangasmed myself to tears.

I think TFA Shockwave is my favorite. Not that comics Shockwave isn't barrels of epic, but man oh man, TFA just made him a super creeper that gave me chills. CHILLS! Plus, you know, Corey Burton has sentimentality slathered all over him.

Just wanted to say that Shockwave is awesome. :D
