I'm planning on taking her to a movie she really wants to see then out to a nice sushi place. I know she likes girls, some of our friends have told me to go for it, and yet I still think I'll chicken out.

I need a pep talk and some advice.

Just tell her. There's really no 'special' way to do it. I mean, I've once had a confession go down with 'Hey, I kind of need to tell you something, that okay?' 'Well, as long as it's not 'You're stupid and I hate you.' That might be kind of awkward.' 'No, it's more like 'You're stupid and I like you alot.' So it doesn't need to be the stuff of romances. If she likes you then whatever you say will probably be fine.

Man I always stress out when I have to do this but the only way to get over the nervousness is to just DO IT. You will feel so much better once you do no matter what the outcome. Hope it goes well!
