Wow. That's...pretty narrow-minded of you. Japan has a rich history and culture that you could've explored, and you're upset because you couldn't find stuff for your shows.

I mean, I'm not all 'Japan is the best' or anything but, you got the chance to go to a foreign country and it sounds like you didn't really get anything out of it at all. I feel sorry for you.

I was really looking forward to going to Japan BECAUSE it's rich in history and culture. I just ended up not liking it so much. Sometimes you go to other countries and just... don't like them a lot.
I learned a lot, and saw lots of interesting stuff, but that trip doesn't stand out in my mind as WOW.
And besides all that, I couldn't even really enjoy the little time we spent on fandom stuff, because I'm in all the wrong fandoms. I'm not upset, it was just mildly disappointing.
But everybody I know is all HOW CAN YOU NOT LOVE JAPAN, SO MUCH HISTORY AND CULTURE.
