I unfollowed everyone who did that and told them I'd be back following them after the election. Only one person had an issue with me doing that and she turned her attacks against me personally. Obviously I won't be following her again tomorrow morning!

i'm not very outspoken when it comes to partisan games, but i've told lots of people that there's a difference between republicans and romney supporters/asshole republicans/conservative shitbags/etc. but they all ignore me every time.

i mean i understand they don't really mean all republicans when they go off on their anti-republican rants, but by not specifying or just straight up generalising, they end up grouping all republicans together, and that bothers me. as their friend, i should be regarded as higher than the names they tack onto people they don't like, but that differentiation isn't always there, so it's like, why did you even add me in the first place if you thought this way?

plus they tend to get a lot of stuff wrong anyway, which is even worse. i try to keep my mouth shut though.
