If you do want to keep a list of tags that folk with Tumblr Savior can use, keep a list of blog-specific ones. A rant tagged as '#homestuck' is going to searchable by everyone searching that tag, but something like '#rant: homestuck', for example, isn't typically searched for. Plus, the TS folk who follow you can add that specific tag for themselves.

For me it comes to personal judgement. I use tags both for my own organization (especially when there's more than five), and for them to be searchable by people in the fandom/topic (the first five are my "net").
