How was it? Anything fun happened?

I had a me day. I spent the whole day in bed reading and we're ordering for dinner (:

What about you? Anything fun or out of the ordinary happen?

Pretty blah. Don't feel like doing much today. (I haven't even played Halo 4 though I've been wanting the game for years. D: I was so excited yesterday too, but...just in a bad mood today, I guess.)

So nope. Yours?

Worked, spent way too long at the mall and didn't really buy much because it's a shitty mall. XD Now going to watch election coverage and play something (either Uncharted 3 or Mass Effect 3).

Uncharted, yaaay! My feelings on ME3 are complicated but I love the series and the game was strong on a whole.

While I had to go to the library to do some studying my friend went to donate blood. I was already walking back to the big Red Cross bus when I got a text from her saying she passed out and I had to come. She's OK, she apparently was out for at most 30 seconds but still.
Not really fun, but.

Got much kudos at work for a job well done. Yeah, it was a good day.

Congratulations! Recognition after putting in work is a very satisfying thing to experience.

A video game (999 for the DS) came in the mail for me today. I forgot that I'd even ordered it.

And someone I work with told me they'd finally pinned down my fashion style. I thought he said, "hobo chic", and I thought it was the coolest thing ever. They actually said, "bobo/boho chic" actually. Still cool, and I feel good.

I loved 999! I hope you do too. Just avoid spoilers at all costs.

I woke up, had breakfast, started studying for tomorrow's test, had lunch, studied, took a bath, studied, had dinner and I'm currently typing this before guess what? studying again before collapsing in bed.

I saved my bank account from being overdrawn? Not a fun time but obviously it could have been worse.

Also I voted, but I wouldn't call that "fun."

But yesterday was awesome because one of my online friends sent me presents! I feel undeserving but so good!

Mine was actually pretty cool. I got a day off work at the last minute, so my mom and I went to vote together (my first time in person, feels so much more awesome than absentee), did a bit of book shopping for my brother's birthday, had lunch together, and went to see Wreck-It Ralph, which is hilarious and wonderful. Now just crossing my fingers for favorable election results. :D

I'm adjusting to new meds, so it's highly unlikely anything will happen that I consider 'fun' for the foreseeable future.

Uh, best part of my day was I got to put a sticker on my head that reads "I voted" but in a language I can't actually read.

Actually, I don't know what language this is. Oh damn. Now I'm curious.

The good parts: I had a 'I'm about to vote for the first time' cupcake with my lunch of... roast beef slices. Then after I got a sticker for doing such a good job of voting I went out for 'I just voted for the first time!' pizza. Then I bought some footie panamas with rockets on them and some striped underwear in bright colors. Then I took a nap in my car at the laundromat. Now I'm at home trying out my new footy pajamas and underwear. And as soon as I'm done unloading the car I shall make some sleepytime tea, watch an episode of Psych, and hopefully finish some sketches.

Well, I've just decided to unfollow a fic comm because of silly restrictions in a contest. Long story short, the contest is being held around the mod's birthday, and the mod doesn't want certain characters...all because it's her birthday. I mean, I understand if you don't want certain characters for a giftfic, but for a comm challenge? That's a bit extreme to me.

Also, election coverage, but I'm in Nate Silver mode. *shrug*

It wasn't bad. My health didn't completely keep me in bed, which is always nice, so I got some errands done after voting, and then I came home, lit up a "plum wine amber" candle, and backed/matted a print of my very favorite Yoshitaka Amano artwork so I could hang it on my wall. <3 Now I'm hanging out in my yummy-smelling room with one of my bunnies (the sweetie in my icon) sitting on the bed with me while I dork around on my laptop. Having a bunny on the bed makes for a great de-stresser.

I was working on getting ahead on my NaNo project. I like it so far, even though some of it has mutated from the original plan. Oh well!

Slept on the couch in front of the window.

Now I'm going to eat some food. Take out the trash. Take out the neighbours trash (note in letterbox says family emergency so I hope they're all okay)
Eat more food
go back to sleep

all day long I've had the -hopefully- irrational fear that one of my closest friends doesn't like me anymore

they haven't replied to me in any way shape or form, but I hope that's because they're busy and not because they're tired of me being a less than stellar friend :(

also I had a terrible nightmare this morning and I'm afraid to go to sleep tonight

I voted for the first time, and Obama won. So I gotta say that it was a damn good day.
