I'd rather go with those bands than some of the alternative/adult alternative/alt-country/pop bands I've seen pop up from time to time in fic.

Even worse is when they do fanvids with those alternative/adult alternative/alt-country/pop bands. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. It's too jarring.
