What is up with the resurgence of extremist Christians? Where did they all come from? Why are they trying to take over the world? How can we get rid of them? SO MANY QUESTIONS!

Not to say that these Nazis are copying the book of Revelation, in fact, they're more using the Left Behind books as their blueprint operating manuals. Oh, and they're not actually Christians, by the way. More like the opposite thing entirely, even though they are attempting to legislate/enforce a trinitarian Sunday-keeping religious state onto our country. Whereupon it will be (although it already kind of is) open season on the Muslims and the Jews. Then the Catholics (there was this huge flap a few years ago because Harpo disrespected the cracker during a Catholic ritual or something, IDK) And then they will go after those Christians who are not "The Party's" right type of Protestant. Finally, they'll come after (if they don't lump us in with the Muslims and the Jews and pick us off first) the non-denominational non-creedal non-pagan Christians who are pacifists, like Jesus.....

So. Yeah. Neo-Nazi Christian fundies on Parliament Hill, Mormon Prophet in the White House, ACTUAL Nazis in the German Reichstag. And yet everyone keeps bleating in horror and banging on about the Muslims instead? The world is NOT going to know what hit it, trust me.

How can we get rid of them--I dunno, I'm tempted to pray, like they supposedly do, for the Rapture--so long as they head up to Heaven, I figure all the rational people left behind can sort of politely ignore the Antichrist and get on with living on Earth. I don't actually believe in any religion, though, so I doubt my prayers would be very efficacious. Any non-right-wing Christians want to give it a go?
