i'm kind of the same way with pokemon. that one pops in and out of hibernation pretty frequently for me. i keep up with the lore and spinoffs more or less full time (GPX especially), and i draw pokemon pretty frequently because their designs are so fun, but i will go for long stretches without actively playing the game.
then suddenly i'll pick up a new one and get right back into the craze.

but i've been on a huge 90s game kick lately, so i feel you there.
