Is mentioning The Eagles okay? Or are they too mainstream? Is Bachman Turner Overdrive unacceptable because they've been referenced in the show? And I guess Alabama (the band, not the state) is far too country for this show's vibe. And are Sam and Dean allowed to listen to "Centerfold" by the J. Geils Band? Or is that too '80s and therefore not old enough? Is Meatloaf's "Bat Out of Hell" a passable choice?
