C-35 passed, after a marathon voting session where EVERY SINGLE MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT THAT WAS NOT IN THE GOVERNING PARTY VOTED AGAINST IT in a SOLID BLOC, but because the Christian Missionary Alliance (masquerading as Tories, as if it couldn't get worse) have the majority in the House, they passed an "omnibus" bill that had everything from soup to nuts in it (and nuts voting for it). Crime bill reforms. Economic reforms. Employment insurance reforms. Pension reforms (taxpayers pension, mind you, getting cut...not politicians'), everything but the actual budget, which is what it allegedly was supposed to be for.

Don't get me started on the recent attempt to re-open "the abortion debate" in the House (needless to say, the Fuhrer wants to make it illegal -- though they're smart enough serpents to NOT make the same kind of uneducated comments the Republicans down south have), the robocalls, and their basically steamrollering any kind of democratic parliamentary processes ("The Canadian people are threatening not to re-elect me? I'll just pro-rogue Parliament so they can't call an election! Ho ho ho ho."), and the current majority government in Canada makes the Mormons down south look like positively pinko Commies.

And the reason C-35 is so much like the Nazi Enabling Act, is because of its sheer size, and the fact that it passed even though it had NO political or popular support, either in the House, or in the country, and the bulk of "the Omnibudget" as it was called, is based almost 100% upon the religious ideologies of the Christian Missionary Alliance, in much the same way the Nazi Enabling Act was based 100% upon the religious ideologies of Hitler's Third Reich. IOW, they are trying to completely abolish the separation of Church and state --- AND they're trying to legislate into force WHICH church the State will be run by.
