Harvest Moon: ANB

(Anonymous) 2012-11-07 01:21 am (UTC)(link)
So, how is it? More specifically, how is the interactivity with the NPCs and singles? Are they interesting enough? Because I know the dialogue will be a little repetitive, but I thought that in Tale of Two Towns it was WAY too repetitive, and got really bored shortly after I got married.

And do the shops once again close if it's raining? because...that is really annoying.

It's awesome. Far less slow than tott. I'm actually playing it right now. I don't actually like any of the bachelors I've met so far, but I'll probably do a second run with a male character so I can marry Yuri, who is ADORABLE. The characters are pretty fun, and it's really worth the money, in my mind. The customization is fabulous.

On that note, though, I'm still marking Rune Factory 3 as the all time best.

Oh, that's good to know! because yeah the game looks great overall, but most reviews I've seen don't talk about the dialogue and I was a little soured by ToTT. But I think I'll def get this one!

It looks good and I know it's 3DS, but does that mean it won't run on DS at all? :(

DA

Yes. It is only 3DS compatible, sorry.

Yeah, no DS, I spent 250 dollars to be able to play the game (3DS xl, and the game), and I think it was money well spent, but you might not be of the same mind. It is expensive.

I like it a lot better so far than ToTT (but I do own the 3DS version and it mega glitchy).

So far the candidates do have more dialogue then ToTT. It's not like blow your mind dialogue, but they will change it up (especially when new people come into your town.)

But really, the customization makes it allllll worth it. And I really like the bachelors and the choices in bachelor/bachelorette personality that you get this time around.

I don't know about marriage dialogue since I haven't gotten married yet, but from what I heard the activities/festivals that you can do with your family after marriage is cute.

(Here is some romance dialogue each bachelor has: http://www.fogu.com/hmforum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=152156 Fogu is also a really good HM site and there are lots of threads that have people's opinions and likes and dislikes about HM:ANB.)
