Make a comeback from what?

Very few states have reported in, and Obama is competitive in all of them that weren't guaranteed to go red. Only 20% of the vote is counted in Ohio, 32% in Virginia, and Obama is competitive in Virginia and leading in Ohio (and if he wins one, he has a real good shot at winning the election). It's neck and neck in Florida. And there's still California, New York, Pennyslvania, Washington, and Oregon where polls haven't even closed.

Obama's not going to lose the election because he lost freaking South Carolina. It's still far too early to say anything authoritative about the election. It's still totally open, neither person has a lead, and I would argue that there's probably more positive signs for Obama than for Romney.

Thank you for this comment! To be entirely honest I've barely watched any of the coverage and my dad has been the one occasionally giving me information. When I did tune in it seemed like most places hadn't reported in, but I tend to get super paranoid and pessimistic about elections. You've given me hope, nonny!
