So...idk if it's disrespectful, but it's not the smart thing certainly. [And I say this as someone who would have a very vested interest in that PoV changing.]

i mean, some people will just never change their opinion, and i understand being angry at them for it. so i'm not like completely against people lashing out at others under certain circumstances. but like you said, if you haven't come that far yet and you're genuinely interested in aiding your cause, be it abortion rights or marriage equality, etc., you're probably seeking to sway those folks. harassing them is the fastest way to close that opportunity off to you. ("you" in a general sense obviously, not you as an individual lol.)
