As another American who would be something else--Aussie or Kiwi sounds good--if I could, you have my sympathies. Whenever people do the whole "if you don't like it here, just leave!" I sigh and say "if only." Obama's continuation and expansion of the Bush administration's skeeviness scares me, but I voted for him because I very much doubt Romney would be better and as a Democrat Obama at least pays lip-service to social issues that affect myself and my family and friends.
