It's a pretty firm fanon among shippers so they don't feel that threatened by Thor/Loki. On the other hand, there's incest wank from time to time. There are lots of clever and polite essays and discussions about Tony/Loki vs Thor/Loki though.

I don't ship Thor/Loki (because it lacks my little black dress character Tony), but I've never felt threatened by people shipping other pairings. *g*
