Aside from Partners (which is full of stereotypes and is going to be canceled anyway) CBS has one regular LGBT character on the entire network, Kalinda, and even though she's bisexual she's still mostly paired with men.

You can wait all you want but CBS will never have a drama with a gay lead character. They're the GOP of networks and it would offend their white male audience. They only have one show with a female lead (The Good Wife again) and if that's canceled next year, like it probably will be, they won't have any dramas focused on women or that have LGBT characters at all. None of the new shows CBS has in development for next year, like a new NCIS and Beverly Hills Cop, have female leads or LGBT characters. Right now CBS is having their worst year ever ratings wise and they don't have any breakout hits except for "man shows" like NCIS and Person of Interest, so they're trying to appeal even harder to men next year.
