I remember him first as Cupid. The blond locks weren't really his thing.

Me too. The blond hair may have not suited him but I heard no arguing over his costume. Rrraarr!

That bowl-cut hair he sported as Caesar wasn't very flattering, either. They blinded me from his hotness for years.

For me, he was Eomer up until I saw Star Trek and then it was like there were two Karl Urbans in the world: one with long, blond hair and a helmet and one with short, dark hair and a southern accent. I seriously have a hard time reconciling the fact that they are the same person.

I swear the guy has a closet full of faces he picks from like clothes in the morning. Eomer made basically no impression on me in the movies (or, honestly, the books). Then I was watching the DVD commentaries and this gorgeous, dark haired, Kiwi guy pops up and starts talking about, IDK, armour or something. I thought it had to be one of the stuntmen or something, 'cause I'd have remembered someone that hot in the main cast.

Nope, it was Karl. And then, yeah, Bones is a different face again from both of those. It's ridiculous.

That's exactly why I can never remember who he is from role to role. Like, his face and voice is stuck in my head so he's constantly familiar, but I can never get a lock on where I've seen him before when he shows up. That he was Caesar, Cupid, the villain from Chronicles of Riddick and from RED, Eomer, all characters I enjoyed, is blowing my mind right now. Dude's a fucking chameleon.

Although he makes a great Bones, he'll always be Eomer to me. Which I have no problem with! However, he does do a good job of slipping into whatever role he's been given.

I watched the Ides of March on Xena last night, this secret feels so oddly timely lol.

Of course, the odd part is that he doesn't appear to have aged since he was on Xena.

Well, he DID trick the Fates in one episode....maybe he FINALLY got his "world domination wish" by being an actor instead?

Yeah, I remember him from Xena. He had like three different roles there.

Lets see....he was in the first season as the older son of a man who was tricked into "killing" his youngest by Urban's character, he was Caesar, he was Cupid, and he was that...I can't remember the group, but he was the son of the leader of that group of barbarians who were attacking the Amazons that Selma Blair was the leader of.

There might have been more, but I can't remember.

lol, I always remember them as the Amazons that Vala Mal Doran/Aeryn Sun was a part of.

Never watched Xena. I think I fell in love with him in... LOTR? Either LOTR or Chronicles of Riddick. It was a long time ago anyway. My favorite movie of his (that no one has ever seen) is The Price of Milk.

I love the Price of Milk! I only watched it because I loved him and the girl from seeing them on Xena, but I wasn't disappointed. My husband didn't quite get it, but I really enjoyed it.

I don't hear the music; I just hear "Caesar, Julius Caesar" in my head. I cracked up during the "Star Trek" movie when he introduced himself as "McCoy, Leonard McCoy."

Ditto. Also, Gina Torres will always be Nebula to me (or Cleopatra).
