Yeah, I know where you're coming from. I kind of like the way Juliet and Shawn play onscreen, actually, but I find a lot of things off-putting about it in terms of the broader story. For one thing, it just really seems like the whole show is leading into that relationship - that this relationship is The Thing. And that's always off-putting, somewhat, and it makes me worry about where they're going to go from here - but ESPECIALLY in combination with the whole "relationship built on a lie" thing, because I just cannot conceive how they're going to resolve that plot in a positive way. I really can't. Something feels really dissonant about a relationship that's this central to the plot and this positively portrayed where we know it's built on a lie and we know that one person would be super angry if they ever found it. It's like, how is this supposed to be The Big Happy Thing if this huge negative Sword of Damocles is hanging over the head of the relationship?
