and someone should make them feel ashamed, but I can't troll from my twitter account because of reasons. And I don't usually condone trolling or ganging up on people, but fuck all of these people. Someone who enjoys this type of thing and looking for an evening of entertainment or distraction should take up the cause and mess these people up. At the very least point out that their twitter is fucking public.

this kind of thing is never a good road to go down. i mean, fuck those people, but there's nothing good that can come of calling for an internet raid.

If it makes you feel any better, some of these people are probably trolling and acting out for attention. My cousin has an Twitter account with her real name and she still trolls and says awful shit, mostly to get a rise out of people, she's just a bitch like that.

Of course, there are genuine bigots out there, but that's just life.

It always seems to happen when people collect tweets like this several are jokes. A few are trolls. Some are repeating what someone else said. They'll still get bitched at like they were all super serious though.

I personally think that these types of tweets are equally assholeish if the person tweeting it is serious or if they think it's a funny "joke".

They're dickish in their own ways, but it's two completely different things.
As a black person, I'd react completely differently to someone who's trolling and is only saying offensive shit for the sake of offending someone, and someone who is genuinely hateful towards a certain group, especially a group I'm part of.

"Colored people"? Goddamn it 1950s stop jacking our wireless.

But really, these are idiots of the highest caliber and not worth a moment of your time.

I was just linked to that via someone on my twitter feed. While I agree these people are asshats of the worst order, they don't really deserve the attention or emotional energy that you're giving them. Try and forget them and move on.

I'm confused that so many seem to think Obama is a muslim and that black people should go to Africa? They're a nation based on immigration, are they going back to britain?

Or Germany. Or Russia. Or Ireland. Better yet, kick all the white people out and give the USA back to the American Indians!

The last time I saw someone mention this bit of logic to a "go back to Africa" type person, they broke out something about how a Caucasoid prehistoric corpse that predated native American prehistoric remains was found in North America, so that meant it always belonged to Caucasian people because firsties or some shit.
