And we're talking about fanfiction plots/twists/quirks that we don't like, not our feelings/thoughts on those situations as they relate to real life.

Other people dislike AUs where characters own coffee shops and have very little resemblance to canon. You feel sorry for someone who's loved...because the lover isn't allowed to have any feelings about anything but the person they're with. Kay.
