Ha, me too! It's worse with the accounts because I have to decide whether or not it's okay to ask someone about how they're doing concerning something they mentioned offhandedly three weeks or more before. So normally I chicken out or wait for a tangentially related opening and pretend I only remember vaguely.

What's the expiration date on checking in without seeming obsessive?

I worry about this irl. Ever since that one boyfriend, years ago, mentioned his surprise that I remembered a detail he thought was forgettable, I've developed the worst habit of feigning ignorance or absent-mindedness. I am really worried about giving people, acquaintances mostly, thinking I'm crazy invested in them.

Except online. I assume we're all creepers with amazing memory skills.

I got that problem In real life, here on f!s I have slight problems remembering who is who actually, I do remember quite a lot about different things though, just not completely sure who said what. (And if someone uses different user pics I'm screwed.) And you never have to seem afraid to creep me out with knowledge!

I keep wondering what happened to the anon who was letting FS know they were killing themselves because they wanted someone to know.
