POC is at best horribly over encompassing and at worst fostering an "us vs theme" mentality of white people and everybody else.

(Anonymous) 2012-11-08 05:35 am (UTC)(link)Personally, I feel that racial minority seems like a decent term when used in context. It's neutral and can be applied to any country, while, a loaded term like 'PoC' is pretty much unacceptable in outside of the West.
