I don't watch/read Bleach, but every single thing you just listed is what's ruining Naruto for me right now. Replace "Orihime" with "Sakura", and it's right on target. Do Kubo and Kishimoto share a playbook or something?

Both series run in Jump so they probably share an editorial department that likes that sort of thing.

Their series are so popular that they can probably get away without even trying anymore.
