He's always been around, though. The same could be said for, say, Cloud, Sephiroth and mostly everyone from that game. I'm honestly surprised people talk about him all the time, consideringVincent'shorridlyboringifhe'sleftbyhimself, and DoC really didn't do much for him.

Just ignore them and like what you like? *dies*

There you have it, the very reason I can never express how much he annoys me. 'Why? You're silly for feeling that way. Don't.' While they consider themselves reasonable in being annoyed by characters that they dislike.

This is why I chose to keep my mouth shut and post it as a secret here.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you shouldn't be annoyed (I as a fan am annoyed by him too on occasion but that's only when trying to RP him or write him) but with all due respect, the only thing I find 'silly' in the sense is being bothered by a fictional character's presence among fangirls.

But that's just me. And I'm weird, go figure.

I'll just keep my opinions to myself so no one's offended. D:

The only thing I want to say in my defense was that I wasn't trying to be negative, if it sounded that way. (And if it was, it was unintentional.) Moving on! ♥

I thought you told me to ignore them and like what I liked. Isn't that the same thing as telling me not to be annoyed? Unless you were implying that I should ignore them and still be annoyed, or ignore them for no reason at all. Which makes no sense.

Read the secret over: 'I cannot express how much Vincent Valentine annoys me.' Perhaps I should have added 'without being called silly, dismissed, or offending people.' And frankly, people like you who cannot understand how people pushing a certain character over and over into your face might justifiably annoy someone are the reason I cannot express that. I'm sorry.

Actually, that would have made it a bit clearer, to be honest. It's something all of us go through at some point, right? No hard feelings? :3

And actually, all I was saying was ignore the fangirling. Like I know I might fangirl a character, and because of my fangirling, someone might start detesting the character I'm talking about.

I'd rather be told to shut up if I'm doing that, so the person who's getting annoyed is spared that sort of annoyance, know what I mean? And it's also the reason I don't fangirl in the open anymore.

The 'fangirling' is the annoying factor. If I could ignore it, I wouldn't be annoyed.

I know what you mean, and I'm sure it works for you, but there are others that would rather not be told to shut up.

I understand. It's all cool. :3 Sorry if I sounded preachy
