I am not understanding how you managed to "make" yourself pretty, unless you mean plastic surgery (in which case it's not you) or just skillfully applied makeup (in which case, it's still not you).

I have a hard time believing anyone who calls themselves 'beautiful'. A little confidence isn't bad but I've found that most truly attractive people are also pretty humble. I can make myself look pretty too, but without the contacts, the makeup, and the hair products, I know I'm pretty darn average. It's not me, it's product. So I'd say you just figured out how to work some tools and got arrogant about it.

Unless, again, you're just talking about losing weight, in which case, alright, that's fair. But there are plenty of unattractive skinny people (and plenty of attractive not-skinny people). I don't understand why people seem to be either 'pro-fat/anti-skinny' or 'pro-skinny/anti-fat'. HEALTHY is what's important. H-E-A-L-T-H-Y

Eh? Once you get plastic surgery, that is you. Just because it's not how you were born doesn't mean it's not you. And, well, really good make-up skills are n't that easy to learn, so... I think if you ever become really exceptionally good at make-up, you have a right to brag about your talents.

I think anon means it's not you in that you're not responsible for the finished project because you didn't actually do the plastic surgery.

Speaking as someone remotely confident in their looks without the use of products/cosmetic surgery, I don't believe the two are truly mutually exclusive. And It is not just myself, I know of many girls like this and a lot are very arrogant about it... (it may just be my small figurative pound, though)
