I can't stand how off model she is in promotional art. And the blue suits her better than pink. But I do like her and Sleeping Beauty is one of my favorite Disney movies.

This is something that gets me about dreamcasts--they always just portray these generically pretty girls with long blonde hair and say it looks ~just~ like her. Like some girl from The OC or Gossip Girl or something. Missing the point that Aurora stands out because she has a long, sharp face. She doesn't have a soft, cute one like Snow White or Ariel. Her face is meant to look very elegant and mature.

Besides that, she definitely has the '50s about her. The thick, arched eyebrows, the long, winged eyelashes and sharp lips. Same with Phillip.

Fun fact: she was modeled after Audrey Hepburn. :)

And they NEVER get her hair right. Always make it far too much of a bright yellow when it's really not bright at all. It's more a kind of wheat color.

Not only that, I always notice they can never keep her eyes consistent and even then, they're off.

I was thinking about the entire thing about how they always dress her in pink for promotions and I think I came up with a good reason why they don't dress her in blue:

She'd look too much like Cinderella, even though Cinderella always has her hair up. When they group all the princesses together, the two light blues would look like twins.

It's the best I could come up with.

but they're always changing Cinderella's dress from it's actual blue color to this weird silverwhiteblue-ish shade :c

Actually the opposite. It's silver-white in the movie, but they make it blue in promotional stuff http://i2.listal.com/image/474036/936full-cinderella-screenshot.jpg

Maybe worried it would look too much like a wedding dress in white?
