NAYRT. If the reasoning for liking a different race goes along the lines of: "Those Asian women know how to submit to their proper place and sure are tighter in all the right places than those uppity *insert other ethnic background here* women", then yeah, I'd call it somewhat fetishistic.

The example you used wasn't "finding people of a different race attractive" it was assuming that the behaviour of an entire group was identical. That's not finding people physically attractive.

But just assuming that any white guy with an Asian woman (or any other combination) is with her because of fetishistic reasons IS racist. It's a really harmful attitude towards interracial couples and mixed-race families, we already has enough stupid racist shit to deal with, thanks.

I agree with this comment.

I tend to date people with a dark hair/dark eyes/round face combination. And yes, some ethnicities fit those better than others. It doesn't mean I'm racist, it just means I have a type. It's when people have a type like from a supposedly subservient culture that it's fetishist.
