I used to try to force myself to growl, because I didn't like the idea of making "girly" noises (I'm female, but I'm masculine of center and toppy.) I finally gave up, because hey, if I make an "uncharacteristic" noise, it's because I'm overwhelmed by what's happening. Which is GOOD, and means I'm enjoying myself.

I mean, I like some of the growls I came up with, too. :-) But repressing the squeaks also just doesn't make sense.

Nothing wrong with being squeaky!

I've heard some very high pitched mewing and squealing coming from my hubby and he's a 6'4" 230lb bald dude with a beard that screams "biker gang." I shudder to think how hurt he'd feel if I imposed these stupid standards of manliness on his sex noises. I'm just glad he's enjoying himself.
