you cannot just call it all 'stalking'. they are all separate situations with separate contexts. male stalkers generally feel entitled to their victims' time and bodies because they are women. fan stalkers generally feel entitled to their victims' time and bodies because they are idols, celebrities.

nobody's giving her a free pass. they're acknowledging that this is a complex situation.
