yes, but. there are very different power relations involved when a *woman* is being stalked by a *man*. because of sexist power structures, i mean seriously, it's not hard. they are very different situations no matter what.

you cannot just call it all 'stalking'. they are all separate situations with separate contexts. male stalkers generally feel entitled to their victims' time and bodies because they are women. fan stalkers generally feel entitled to their victims' time and bodies because they are idols, celebrities.

nobody's giving her a free pass. they're acknowledging that this is a complex situation.

Are you serious? You can't call what is done to idols in Korea stalking? I suggest you research that before you say anything else.
