It's insulting to victims of domestic abuse to say that someone who told a person to step closer to him so that he could hit them again is an abuser of women? Really?

These girls believe that they have a relationship with the idol they stalk. They're mentally ill. If he had punched her lights out and then left (this happened in public, it's not like he was cornered) that would have been one thing. He stayed there for an extended period of time, hitting her and calling her worthless, and bragged about the fact that she, a teenaged girl, would be ashamed to go home because she had visible signs of having been hit repeatedly. He bragged about having done so to other, equally disturbed, girls in the past.

But that's no big deal. Right.

These women are delusional and disturbed, yes. But that doesn't justify or excuse their abuse. They need help yes, but first they need to STOP. Stalkers are abusers, and these women (and men) are NOT victims, they are fucking scary.

Uh, yes. Talk to someone who's been stalked some time, and explain to them why finally snapping and saying something like "C'mon then, cmon, bring it!" to their stalker is on the level of domestic abuse. and then go tell someone who has been abused that they're just like that crazy stalker who harassed someone, because one time the stalk-ee was mean to their abuser.

So considering an entire class of people (teenaged girls who get near him exhibiting fannish behaviors) as equal to the people who break into his apartment and physically assault him and his bandmates isn't dehumanizing at all. Right.

I don't think it's dehumanizing. I think he just thinks they're stalker humans. Maybe because they behave like stalker humans?

Thank you. I've been on both sides and it's offensive as hell.

Also OP, I'm not seeing the same meaning in what he said as you.
