This is exactly what I was thinking. I'm reading through this whole thread and people are like "he finally couldn't take it anymore and snapped" and I'm like, okay, sure, that's an acceptable response after a build-up, but in this case, he's apparently "snapped" dozens of times, so many times he can't count. The first time may have been a snap, but now it just sounds like he enjoys it. I do feel sorry for him as these fans sound super duper scary and hard to deal with, and he may have feared for his life at some point, but now it almost sounds like a game to him.

Also, is there really nothing these idols can do to stay away from these fans? If he's really this popular, can't he afford bodyguards? I'm completely clueless about K-pop so I have no idea about any of the situation, I just know that super famous celebrities stateside usually have some big bald dude in a turtleneck and a blazer that stands around with his big beefy hands folded in front of him and you seriously don't want to mess with that guy.

So, it's your fault you got stalked - you should have hired security. ?!?!?

Maybe he should do that, maybe he should have to live behind locked doors, with security guys shoving everyone away from him - but if so, I really have to agree with his question (which he said twice, and which I noticed the OP did not figure was important enough to bold), "Do I have to live like this?"

Ugh, thank you. :x I don't understand what those anons can't understand. All the money and power in the world doesn't mean you can avoid these terrible situations. I keep thinking of the Selena case, to be honest. That just made it so clear that some fans are fucking BATSHIT.
