I'm confused by this too. The latest update had them standing next to each other and the next thing I know, people are reblogging a cake that says "Jake/Dirk is Canon".

Jake kissed Dirk's severed head but only so he wouldn't die. Dirk also kissed Roxy and Jane (for the same reason) in the same update.

So, basically, Dirk/everyone is sort of canon. and I sort of ship it.

To be honest, I consider something canon if the characters explicitly show interest in each other, but the main way people seem to use it is if they're an established couple. So Dirk/Jake is canon to me, but I just wasn't sure why they were more canon now than they were before.

I was kind of disappointed that Roxy didn't kiss Jane I sort of ship everyone/everyone so it's okay.

so did I. But then I realised she's the most normal person in the series for being grossed out by corpse-kissing AND failing to psyche herself up to do it. But she looked so disappointed when Dirk did it. My shipping hat is telling me it was because of the jelly feelings! Shhhhhh! it can still work!
