That's really neat! I'm kind of a collector so maybe you shouldn't listen to me since I basically horde junk, but that item sounds kind of rare and I would encourage you to keep it!

I agree with this. Especially if it is official merchandise and not a knockoff.

Also especially if it is hand-cranked. Music boxes themselves are kinda going out quietly (haven't seen it really marketed or sold in a while - it's all digital chip like in those sing along greeting cards now). I'm sure even as a music box collectable, it would eventually be worth something.
