I think it's more like that when people say like "The art is shitty and the story is stupid and anyone who likes it is stupid and Hussie sucks". If you're talking specifically about noodlyguy, it's not a secret that he likes to troll, so if people are acting angry to begin with he is going to keep pushing to get a rise out of them. I'm sure I could give a non-insulting reason why I don't like homestuck and people wouldn't care. Anyway, he is not the fandom. If you wanted to say "insanenoodlyguy is really obnoxious and pushy about homestuck" or "The regular homestuck fans on f!s really annoy me" it would be a lot more accurate than saying the entire fandom is terrible.
