Re: Odd Qurks and Habits
I also like to do things in patterns. For examples...
-As a kid I'd take out all of my crayons/markers/whatever, line them up, and color each section with a color, then put it at the end of the line and color the next section with a different color. (My Dad likes to laugh that my coloring books looked like they were full of anime characters because Snow White would have green hair and stuff.)
-Unless I just get a particular favorite thing that I HAVE to have at a restaurant, I don't like repeating meals, so I tend to start from the thing I ordered last at a place and go through the menu until I find something that sounds good.
-As a kid, I would halve my current age and figure out patterns of things to do that were multiples of that number. So like...if I was 10 years old, and I wanted to turn up the volume on the TV, and it was the 13th, I would turn up the TV in increments of 3 until it sounded right. I stopped picking new numbers when I turned 13 because i felt like the numbers were going to get too big, so...I just always do stuff divided by 6. Since today's the 15th I'm often adjusting volume by 3 notches or so.
I don't stick to those patterns as strictly as I did when I was a kid, but I still tend to rely on them when I can't decide on something since I'm pretty indecisive and sometimes it's just handy to have a way to settle on something.
Oh, and I also make playlists in iTunes for characters I like to analyze, write or RP a lot on iTunes and I have an overly complicated system of deciding what songs should go on them that I won't go into.
...You know, writing this all out makes me realize how weird I am?

I don't think the pattern thing is strange at all. Since, I have a tendency to things in patterns.

It's nice to know I'm not the only one that does pattern things! Nobody I know IRL does stuff like that so they find it sort of weird. Not necessarily in a bad way, but weird.
