I actually really enjoyed Revelations, but it is a little different from the ones before it [havent played AC3 so can't speak for it], and it is a little sad with where some of it goes. But it's still very well done in my opinion, particularly since it has to wrap up two different stories as well as move Desmond's along.

Yeah that's why I still want to play Revelations... to see the end of Ezio's story and more of Desmond's.

Well, I don't want to give spoilers but the end of Ezio's story is mostly in a little mini-movie that comes with the game...sort of. But the finish of his revenge/I must find out! mission is in the game.

However, you do find out quite a bit about desmond since there are some segments that go into his past, albeit in a more abstract [and sometimes frustrating] way.
