So true, so true! Kadar's a funny one. I understand fixating on minor characters in general... either they share some beloved tropes so you naturally latch onto them or they're very relevant to some other character you like (that would be Malik in this case), so you start looking at them through character B's eyes and suddenly they're the most important people in the cast.
And you start noticing canonical details and making very obvious connections, so that, in the end, you can actually gain a pretty distinct image of the character directly from canon (and start headcanoning your way from there). I love to do it and I love to see what fans of other minor characters that I didn't have the drive to research in depth myself have to say for their faves. Overanalyzing is fun! But it has to spark from something, so it's also totally understandable that most people, myself included in this case, can finish the game and just go "...Kadar who?".

That said, with big fandoms such as AC, it's just funny how quickly these things gain critical mass and merrily escalate.
