I already kind of shipped them when I watched the new Crystal Empire, and when I saw that scene part of me was like "It's canon! Actually, no, and it never will be, but it's... maybe one step closer? (:"

That was a really cute moment!

I don't really see it as a ship, though...they're just generally really sweet to each other all the time so (and I don't really ship in that fandom either)

Yeah, I just watched that episode today, and that moment was awesome. It was like, instant lesbians. Never really shipped them before, but holy hell I sure do now.

Is this still a thing in the fandom? I thought this entire bullshit stopped once people started posting what Lauren Faust has said on the subject (that all races are equal and that the princesses are the embodiment of all three).

Bronies have been writing essays on that sort of shit.
MLP also apparently supports racial segregation, stereotypical gender roles and is liked by so many young men because it is the only show on TV which comes close to advertising "Mens Rights".

This fandom is insane.

i haven't actually seen the latest fim episodes though, so, i'm just going by how awesome i thought they were together in the first season. i guess this is incentive to catch up, seeing how they get shippier hm
