Though he's by no means the most talented VA out there, I feel bad for all the hate he gets. His fans are awful and he gets typecast as awful when in fact he's just a dude who likes to do fan voices for comics. I don't agree with people who act like his voices are canon, but I hate that he gets all the blame for his fans going nuts over him just having fun with his interpretation of fictional characters.

Yeah. I just like his stuff. I do admit his Equius and Eridan are what are in my head but I'm not insistent about it.

The only canon voice I'd insist on is the singing voice in "Your Universe"

Really? I think Rachel St. Marseille's voice is too girlish -- it doesn't have a lot of depth, and she honestly sounds strained in her upper register. I was surprised by how many people loved "Your Universe" (and "Temporal Shenanigans," too).

Yeah, it seems like a lot of hate he gets is for things he doesn't have any control over, e.g. the obnoxiousness of his fans or how popular his VA work is. There's a big difference between just not liking his interpretations and treating him like he's a bad person (he's a pretty good guy ime) because of their prevalence.
