Do you know how to pull up the right click menu via keyboard? You need to either tab into the web page and and select "View Page Info" via the right click menu or you can press alt+t to enter Firefox's tools menu and select "Page Info."

Once you're in the Page Info window, use tab (or shift+tab) and the arrow keys to enter the Media tab of the Page Info window and find the image you want to save. Once you see the image, press tab (or shift+tab) until you reach the "Save As" button, press enter, and you should be able to save the image.

It's convoluted but it should work. I'm sorry I don't know any faster ways.

Yes, Shift + F10! I'm learning all sorts today :)

That does seem convoluted, especially if it's an image-heavy page, but I'll give it a go, thank you!

Ugh, image-heavy pages. F7 turns on Caret Browsing, which allows you to select text with the cursor. Once you do that, you can highlight the image you want, right click, select "View Selection Source" and it should pull up the web page's source file where source code for the image you want is highlighted. Copy the link and open the image in another tab or something, and use the Page Info/Media trick to save it. It's still convoluted as hell but it might save some time.

I think this version is likely to be way more complicated than the first option - which I just tried. It is actually much, much easier than it looked and is going to make my night go a lot quicker, so thank you!
